Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Announces Versus Mode

The developer of Warhammer: Vermintide 2, Fatshark, announced on 10th June 2019 that the game will now let players play as the enemy and fight the heroes. With Versus, Fatshark will bring a 4 vs 4 gameplay to Warhammer: Vermintide 2 where players can choose to play as the heroes or as the enemy rats.

“The player has always been the hero of the game, but in the Versus mode, players will now be able to play as the enemy factions.” says Martin Wahlund, CEO Fatshark. “Versus is a competitive game mode where two separate teams of four players take turns playing as the enemies and heroes.”
