Paradox Passes Out Free 'Match Day' DLC for Cities: Skylines

Cities: Skylines, the award-winning city-building game from Colossal Order, has a new update available entirely free. Available to all players of Cities: Skylines, the new DLC, titled Match Day, allows mayor-players to add stadiums to their towns – and comes with all of the benefits and challenges of hosting major sporting events in their citizens’ backyard.

The DLC includes:

• Colosseum Order: Build a stadium in your city and become the home of a major sports franchise.
• Read the Match Notes: Prepare for increased traffic coming to and from your arena on match day – and reap the rewards from ticket revenue.
• Team Workshop: Customise your local team colours and enact new stadium-related policies.
• A New Hat for Chirper: Because everyone loves hats!

If you’re not a fan of football and hats, then there’s a new patch available to everyone that you can enjoy instead. in addition to an assortment of fixes and updates to the game, the new patch unlocks five custom in-game items for all players. These items had previously only been available with pre-orders. To thank the community for their ongoing support, everyone will now have access to the Carousel, Dog Park, Bouncy Castle, Basketball Court, and Botanical Garden. Check out the full patch notes here.
