Sunnyside Games Announces Sequel to Critically Acclaimed Action-Adventure Title

Recently announced is the brand-new sequel to their critically-acclaimed action-adventure title, and this time, they are taking it into the metroidvania sphere. Expanding on the original universe, Nocturnal 2 is going to feature metroidvania-style gameplay, with non-linear exploration, secrets, all-new enemies, and even more fire-based abilities to fight back the darkness!

We were pleased with the reception to Nocturnal, but wanted to do more with the series; this time we’re expanding the scope into a full-blown Metroidvania, full of non-linear gameplay, secrets, all new enemies, and an expanded arsenal of fire-based abilities.
