Volition Announces Agents of Mayhem

Volition have announced their next game and no it isn't Saints Row. It is a brand new IP titled: Agents of Mayhem. 

Agents of Mayhem takes you to a new comic hero universe full of memorable characters. As an agent of M.A.Y.H.E.M. (the Multinational Agency for Hunting Evil Masterminds) you will battle against the sinister forces of L.E.G.I.ON. (the League of Evil Gentlemen Intent on Obliterating Nations) in a massive open-world full of lunacy and cartoony action. Sharing the same universe of Saints Row you'll expect to see many shared story elements and design inspirations that made the Saints Row franchise so popular, so expect see outlandish and over the top gameplay.

Agents of Mayhem is slated for release in 2017 and is coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We've haven't got any gameplay as of yet, but in the meantime check out the reveal trailer above.
