WRC 9 gamescom Trailer

Long standing Rally sim, WRC 9 returns with a new gameplay reveal at gamescom 2020.

Gearing up to lead the World Rally Championship series into the next generation, the new trailer for WRC 9 showcased new modes, new courses, and an emphasis on the realism and pushing current gen consoles to the standard of their successors.

Such modes include a new “Photo Mode”, a co-operative online “Co-driver Mode” where the secondary player gives out the pace-notes to the primary driver, and a “Club Mode” that lets you create your own team, amass a crew of your friends under one banner, and craft your own championship with the tracks available to you.

New courses were presented too, within countries such as Kenya, New Zealand, and Japan making an appearance in WRC 9; as well as free expansions to the Finland & Portugal courses, that are planned to be released during the lifespan of the game.

WRC 9: World Rally Championship will arrive on PC via Epic Store, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One - 3rd September, with Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X releases to be announced soon.
