Summer Game Fest 2024: Unknown 9: Awakening

There exists a mysterious dimension that overlaps our own, the Fold, that can be channelled to produce miraculous effects. Those with a connection to this dimension can use it to vanish in plain sight, slow down time, or even enter the minds of others. Take on the role of Haroona, a Quaestor born with a strong connection and tasked with uncovering hidden knowledge. As she gains power, her growth does not go unnoticed, as a splinter faction tries to use the Fold to rewrite history itself.

As you venture from Mauritanian sands and perilous Indian jungles to 19th-century Portugal, you’ll discover many mysterious locations and learn more about the Fold and its connection to the world. Channel the Fold in different ways to match your playstyle, either by flinging umbral energy, vanishing into the dimension, or even taking over your enemies temporarily!

Unknown 9: Awakening is part of a larger, intertwining story, which will be told through multiple Unknown 9 titles that will form a much larger Storyworld to experience!
